Appx. Goods started as a love letter to each other. An idea for a homemade coffee menu to add variety and fun to our favorite morning ritual - sharing an iced coffee in bed before we part to face the world. That routine sparked an idea: what if more of our lives felt like that?
Intentional. Slow. Designed by us, two Black women who love women (and each other). A subtle reminder of our very unique love. A one-in-a-million chance at finding a soulmate. Crafted with taste, with care, and with the kind of love you can feel - just like our coffee.
Present, powerful, but not a spectacle. We love the flag, but we don’t always need to wear it (not that we don’t, it’s cute af). Yes, we’re lesbian-owned, but that’s the least interesting thing about Appx. It matters, but it’s not the majority.
Our love is radical and disruptive. But also, sometimes we’re just sharing coffee.
Everything we create is shaped by a deep love for Black women: soft, complex, and healing. If we can’t bring that version of ourselves everywhere, at least we can bring a reminder.
We’re building something that gets you, supports you, and (hopefully) feels like you.
For the ones who want to be seen without being put on display.
